Ram golfer Elijah Block was meet medalist when at the Des Moines Christian golf tournament April 12 at Jester Park north of Des Moines. Coach Dave Destival said due to work on the course, play was shortened to par 70 from par 72. Block shot two under par at 68.
Jadon Block shot 81, Curtis Muir shot 95, and Ben Wilkins shot 108 to complete the team score at 352.
Prairie City-Monroe won the tournament with 310. Des Moines Christian had 316, and Panorama edged out Greene County by one stroke, 351, for third place. Earlham shot 376 and Coon Rapids-Bayard shot 381.
